Collier?s Cheese Welsh Cakes
Welsh cakes are a traditional Welsh favourite and it was customary to cook them over a heavy, flat, iron pan called a bakestone. Traditionally they are sweet, but for a savoury taste sensation, swap the sugar and sultanas for Collier?s Powerful Welsh Cheddar. These are great fun to make with children and cook in a few minutes on a hot frying pan.

For 20 Collier?s Welsh Cakes:
225g self-raising flour
110g butter
75g Collier?s Powerful Welsh Cheddar, grated
10g Parmesan, grated
4g fresh chives, chopped
Pinch of cayenne pepper
Pinch of salt
1 egg, beaten

Sift the flour, and then rub in the butter until crumbly.
Add the both the cheeses, chives, cayenne and salt and gently mix.
Add the egg and mix to dough. If the mixture is a little dry add a spot of milk, until dough is formed.
Transfer the dough on to a floured working surface and roll out to 5 mm (? inch) thick.

Using a 6.5 mm (2? inch) plain cutter cut the dough into rounds. Re-roll the trimmings until all the dough is used.

Heat a heavy flat frying pan on a medium heat (traditionally a heavy flat iron pan called a ?griddle? pan or bakestone was used). Now grease with a little vegetable oil, using a piece of kitchen roll.

Cook the Collier?s Cheese Welsh Cakes in batches of 4 to 6 for about 3 minutes each side until golden brown. If they are browning too quickly, turn the heat down so they cook in the middle.

They should be fairly brown and crisp on the outside.
Serve immediately while still warm, with butter if you like.

Collier?s Welsh Rarebit

3 egg yolks
50ml brown ale
1 tbsp Dijon mustard
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
200g Collier?s cheddar
4 shallots ? finely diced
3 x traditional muffins, cut in half

Mix all the ingredients together in a bowl. Toast the muffins on both sides. Spread a layer of the cheese mix on top, quite thickly, and grill until brown and bubbling.

Collier?s Cheese, Leek and Chilli Muffins

The leek, like the daffodil, is the national emblem of Wales. Shakespeare refers to the custom of wearing a leek as an ?ancient tradition? in Henry V. The leek is seen on the cap of the Welsh Guards and boys will be wearing them to school on March 1st, while girls will wear a daffodil.

These muffins are really easy to whip up and make a nice change in lunchboxes.

For 10 muffins:

200g self-raising flour
1 tsp baking powder
Pinch of English mustard powder
1 medium leek, finely chopped
1 medium red chilli, deseeded and finely chopped
100g Collier?s Powerful Welsh Cheddar, grated
80ml milk
100ml vegetable oil
1 egg, beaten

Heat oven to 180? C / 160?C Fan / Gas Mark 4.
Line muffin tins with 10 cases.
Mix all first 6 ingredients gently together.
Now add the milk, oil and egg and fold together to form mixture.
Spoon the mixture evenly into the muffin cases (top with a little extra grated cheese if desired)
Bake for 25 minutes, then check to see if they are done.
Enjoy warm or cold

Clinton: Syria's Assad could be labelled a war criminal

U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton said on Tuesday that an argument could be made that Syrian leader Bashar al-Assad is a war criminal.

"There would be an argument to be made that he would fit into that category," Clinton told a Senate committee hearing, responding to a question from Senator Lindsey Graham as to whether Assad could be called a war criminal.

But she added that using such labels "limits options to persuade leaders to step down from power."

Clinton was also asked whether she thought Assad was on his way out eventually. "I do," she said. "I just don't know how to define eventually."

Last week Clinton attended a "Friends of Syria" conference of Western and Arab powers in Tunis that urged Assad to stop the killing of civilians in his crackdown on a nearly year-old uprising against his rule.

But the outside world has proved powerless to halt the killing in Syria, where repression of initially peaceful protests has spawned an armed insurrection.

A U.N. panel has drawn up a list of Syrian officials who could be investigated for crimes against humanity as part of Assad's brutal crackdown on peaceful protests.

The U.S. also criticized Syria's envoy for storming out of an emergency U.N. meeting on the crisis in his country Tuesday, saying the walkout and a fiery speech that preceded it demonstrated the "delusional" nature of President Bashar Assad's regime.

Syria's ambassador to the United Nations in Geneva, Fayssal al-Hamwi, accused members of the U.N. Human Rights Council of promoting terrorism and prolonging the crisis in his country by holding an urgent meeting on Syria.

"Anybody who heard the Syrian ambassador should be aware that his comments were borderline out of touch with reality," Eileen Chamberlain Donahoe, the U.S. representative to the 47-nation council, told reporters.

"I think it's a reflection to some extent of what's going on with the Assad regime itself, holding a referendum that is farcical and a mockery of democratic processes when they're in the midst of a humanitarian crisis of their own creation," she said. "I think the Syrian ambassador's comments were equally delusional."

Al-Hamwi took the floor shortly after the U.N.'s top human rights official called for an immediate cease-fire in Syria and unhindered access for aid agencies to deliver emergency supplies and evacuate the sick and wounded.

"We are convinced that the real aim behind holding this session today is to cover up for the violence and murder perpetrated by the armed groups against innocent civilians," Syria's ambassador told diplomats.

Calling it part of "a pre-established plan," al-Hamwi said the meeting was "aimed at attacking the Syrian state and its institutions under the pretext of humanitarian needs."

"We are not pretending that the human rights situation in Syria is perfect," he added. "We are aware that there is a regression in the quality of services usually provided by the government to the population by the regions facing violence. This is due to the armed groups that are using residential areas as bases."

As diplomats and government officials from 70 countries lined up to express their concern about the deteriorating situation in Syria, al-Hamwi announced that his delegation would withdraw from what he called "this sterile discussion."

Before storming out of the room, he denounced a planned resolution on Syria as "malicious and prejudiced."

Foreign Minister Alain Juppe says France is working on a new U.N. Security Council resolution that would call for an immediate ceasefire in Syria and humanitarian aid.

He says that shelling in the city of Homs, where two journalists were killed and at least two wounded last week, had reached "unbearable and criminal proportions."

Russia and China have consistently blocked Security Council efforts to back Arab League plans aimed at ending the Syrian conflict.

Juppe said the resolution "could stipulate an immediate ceasefire and access for humanitarian aid as well as renewing our support to the Arab League."

The U.N. political chief B. Lynn Pascoe said Tuesday that "well over" 7,500 people have died in Syria violence and that there are "credible" reports that more than 100 civilians are dying in the country daily. Activists groups said Monday that the death toll for 11 months of unrest has now surpassed 8,000 people.

"Unfortunately, the international community has also failed in its duty to stop the carnage, and actions and inactions to date have seemed to encourage the regime in its believe that it has impunity to carry out the wanton destruction of its own civilians," Pascoe said.

Members of the Geneva-based council are expected to pass a resolution this week condemning "widespread and systematic violations of human rights and fundamental freedoms by the Syrian authorities."

A draft text supported by many Arab and Western nations says the Syrian regime's use of heavy artillery and tanks to attack civilian areas has contributed to the deaths of thousands.

Libya's Prime Minister Abdurrahim el-Keib said he supported passing a firm resolution on Syria in the council.

"We hope that the Syrian people will have the same freedom and victory soon as the Libyan people are enjoying right now," he said.
Navi Pillay, the U.N. High Commissioner for Human Rights, cited the report of a U.N. expert panel that concluded Syrian government officials were responsible for "crimes against humanity" committed by security forces against opposition members. The crimes included shelling civilians, executing deserters and torturing detainees. Some opposition groups, too, had committed gross abuses, the report said.

The panel has compiled a confidential list of top-level Syrian officials who could face prosecution over the atrocities.

Pillay reiterated her call for Syria to be referred to the International Criminal Court "in the face of the unspeakable violations that take place every moment."

"More than at any other time, those committing atrocities in Syria have to understand that the international community will not stand by and watch this carnage and that their decisions and the actions they take today ultimately will not go unpunished," she said.

Several countries backed her call for Syria to be referred to the ICC, a proposition made difficult by the fact that Syria's longtime ally Russia holds a veto in the U.N. Security Council, where such a move would have to be approved.

Esther Brimmer, the U.S. Assistant Secretary of State for International Organization Affairs, told reporters that while it was up to the Syrian people to decide how to try those responsible for atrocities in Syria, the international community could assist by collecting evidence for future prosecutions.

Meanwhile, Tunisia offered on Tuesday to give Syrian President Bashar al-Assad political asylum if that helps to end a crackdown on the near-year-old uprising against his rule.

"Tunisia is ready in principle to grant political asylum to Bashar al-Assad and his family if this proposal will contribute to stopping the bloodshed," Adnen Monssar, an aide to President Moncef al-Marzouki, told Reuters.

Tunisian President Moncef Marzouki suggested during the "Friends of Syria" conference of Western and Arab powers in Tunis last week that Russia, which has vetoed U.N. Security Council action against the Syrian regime, give Assad refuge. On Tuesday, his aide said Tunisia was willing to take him itself.

Actress Lucy Lawless arrested in oil-ship protest

WELLINGTON, NEW ZEALAND?? Police on Monday arrested actress Lucy Lawless and five Greenpeace environmental activists after the group spent four days protesting aboard an oil-drilling ship docked in New Zealand.

"Seven of us came up the tower on Shell's drillship but 4 days later 130,000 will come down. In solidarity we can #savethearctic," Lawless tweeted.

Police removed the group from their perch atop a 174-foot drilling tower on the Noble Discoverer in Port Taranaki. Lawless and six activists climbed the tower early Friday in an attempt to raise awareness about oil drilling in the Arctic and prevent the ship from leaving.

Lawless, 43, a native New Zealander, is best known for her title role in the TV series "Xena: Warrior Princess," and more recently for starring in the Starz cable television series "Spartacus."

The ship was due to drill five exploratory wells during the Arctic summer, Greenpeace spokesman Nathan Argent said. He said Greenpeace is concerned about the rush of companies trying to drill in the Arctic and the potential for catastrophic spills in the ecologically sensitive region.

"The oil companies are pushing the frontiers in the Arctic," he said. "There's a relentless push to get the last drops of oil."

A police spokeswoman said Lawless and five other activists would be processed Monday at a local station.

Chartered by oil company Shell, the ship had been due to leave over the weekend for the Arctic to drill five exploratory wells.

Lawless spoke to The Associated Press from atop the tower Friday, where she said wind gusts were making it difficult for the group to stay put. She said she felt compelled to take a stand against oil-drilling in the Arctic and against global warming. She said she had a "little bit" of food and some provisions with her.

The protesters hung banners from the drilling derrick reading "Stop Shell" and "#SaveTheArctic."

"I've got three kids. My sole biological reason for being on this planet is to ensure that they can flourish, and they can't do that in a filthy, degraded environment," Lawless said. "We need to stand up while we still can."

In a series of tweets over the weekend, Lawless described some of the challenges of staying on the tower.

"I found last night pretty darn scary," she wrote. "Not for sissies."

In a release, Rob Jager, Chairman of Shell New Zealand, said the protest had put people in danger and he was pleased it was over. He said he remained disappointed that Greenpeace hadn't taken up the company's offer to engage in a "productive conversation."

Shell spokeswoman Shona Geary said she thought the ship would leave port within the next few days.

Bunny McDiarmid, the chief executive of Greenpeace New Zealand, said she thought the protest had gone "brilliantly" and that more than 100,000 people had sent messages to Shell to oppose the company's Arctic plans.

I got to know about Honest Burgers through Daniel Young?s Top 10 Burgers in London list at http://youngandfoodish.com/london/top-10-burgers-in-london/, where Honest Burgers is currently ranked #7. I don?t want to discuss any ranking, but I can state that at honest Burgers in Brixton you definitely get a delicious burger. When I arrived on the early evening, I had to wait for about 15 minutes, they said I would have to wait for 20 minutes. So, while waiting I popped into French & Grace a few stalls down the alley for a coffee and some reading (actually, it?s interesting that almost everywhere you get chatted up when you read in the recently released ?Londoners? by Craig Taylor at the moment).

As promised I got a ?missed call? as notification when I could head back. Nice service. And after the waitress explained that I shouldn?t pick up, because it?s her phone, you also get the her number without needing to ask for it, if that?s relevant to you. I guess that?s subject to change.

As soon as I was seated I got the menu. You don?t have much choice anyway. Chicken, beef, veggy. Period. Almost. Of course I went for the Honest Burger with cheese and bacon. As drink I opted for homemade lemonade, that?s almost always a good choice.

I don?t know how long I had to wait for my food, but I didn?t mind anyway. It?s a quite small restaurant with the kitchen right behind the counter, so you can see the chefs fiddling around with the food.

The burger was really very very tasty, just a bit small. Not too small, but also not too big. The chips are among the best chips I?ve had in London so far. Nicely spiced with rosemary, or whatever, probably a little bit too salty, but good in size and cooked to the point, if it is appropriate to say that for chips.

The only real downside of enjoying a great (though not large) burger there is that they don?t serve any desserts. I guess they simply have no space to prepare and store desserts in the small kitchen area, but despite I liked the (cute) light French accent of the second waitress, having no desserts at all put me off a little bit, resulting in only four stars.

But after all, if you like chips and burgers, it should be a safe bet to go there.

FDA Approves New Gen-Probe Test for Men at Risk of Prostate ...

The FDA has approved a?new diagnostic assay for prostate cancer gene 3 (PCA3), according to San Diego?s Gen-Probe (NASDAQ: GPRO), which says the test gives doctors a?new diagnostic tool for men who are at higher risk for developing prostate?cancer.

The company says the test can help determine if additional prostate biopsies are warranted for men who had negative results from previous prostate biopsies, but who are nevertheless at higher risk for the disease. Gen-Probe says the PCA3 assay gives doctors a?new diagnostic tool for addressing concerns that have been raised in recent years about the usefulness of screening men for prostate-specific antigen (PSA), a?type of protein that is often elevated in men with prostate cancer and other prostate?disorders.

A high PSA level is not a?definitive test for determining the presence of cancer,?however.

Rather, a?prostate biopsy is required. Yet the procedures raise a?variety of other issues. Depending on the sample taken, a?prostate biopsy could entirely miss a?tumor. Such biopsies also are associated with an increased risk for hospital-acquired infections, bleeding, and other complications.

Gen-Probe says its PCA3 test can help resolve this quandary, known as ?the PSA dilemma,? because it can detect the presence of the PCA3 gene, a?biofactor that the company says is typically over-expressed in 95 percent of prostate?cancers.

In its statement, the company quotes John Wei, a?professor of urology at the University of Michigan Health System: ?Over-expression of the PCA3 gene is highly specific to cancerous prostate tissue,? Wei says. ?When evaluated with other risk factors, the Progensa PCA3 assay fills an important unmet clinical need by helping physicians identify which men suspected of having prostate cancer should undergo a?repeat prostate?biopsy.?

Adele 'Absolutely Flabbergasted' After Grammy Wins

It was only a few days ago that Adele swept the Grammys, taking home six trophies for her album 21 and hitting the stage for an emotional return to performing after having vocal-cord surgery back in November.

In a new blog post titled "5 Was My Favourite Number But Now It Is 6," the singer reflects on the whirlwind of the last few days.

"Oh goodness!! I'm absolutely flabbergasted! In between laughing my head off, welling up, needing to sit down and trying to maintain an open fire (which is pretty much impossible huh!?), I keep having flashbacks to Sunday night. The most incredible night of my life," she wrote. "Thank you to you all, I am so overwhelmed, it's the strangest feeling. I have constant butterflies and goose bumps, it's wearing me out but I LOVE it!

"I've been sleeping a lot but the minute I wake up I burst out laughing and it starts all over again," she continued. "I forgot to mention so many people by name on the night, and for that I'm sorry. I will say thanks to your face when I next see you. I was totally unprepared. Despite the phenomenal year, I swear I didn't think I had any chance. All the categories were full of people I adore with brilliant songs, records and performances. So not in my wildest dreams did I think to actually prepare anything proper to say just in case."

Nestled in between giddy moments in the post, Adele was reflective about the past 12 months. "Thank you to everyone who enjoys my music, and to all the 'daydreamers' (I love that you call yourselves that. I read all your messages and threads from time to time and you crack me up x) it seems like you pass 21 on and want people to hear it and it's because of that that it's evolved into something that we should all be very proud of," she wrote. "All of this is yours — the songs, the shows, the moments like this. Not that there's any other moments like this one, but you get my drift ... Ha! The night itself was so amazing, I met so many incredible people and everyone we've lost this year were on our minds and in our hearts and it was lovely to remember them all together as fans and friends."

At the end of the lengthy blog post, she addressed some comments she made in Vogue in which she noted she wanted to take five years off. Adele fans, don't worry. She has no plans to slow down. "I've a few days off now, and then it's the Brit Awards here at home," she wrote about the show, where she is nominated and will perform. "And then I'm straight into the studio. BOYYAHH! 5 years? More like 5 days!"

The ceremony Monday at the Hyatt Regency Century Plaza Hotel proceeded like a traditional Hollywood-style awards show, with actors including "NCIS" star Pauley Perrette and "Hot in Cleveland" star Wendie Malick presenting trophies for the best dog performances on the big and small screens.

Uggie, the four-legged star of "The Artist," was named top dog in a movie. His owner-trainer, Omar Von Muller, was on hand to accept the award.

Von Muller said the Jack Russell terrier, who stole hearts in the silent film that's up for 10 Academy Awards, is a "great performer, but he's also a great family member."

"He sleeps with us," Von Muller said.

The Golden Collar Awards, dreamed up by Alan Siskind of the website dognewsdaily.com, drew other stars of "The Artist," including James Cromwell and Missi Pyle, as well as studio representatives and media outlets from around the world.

"I'm delighted to be here because I owe my career to a pig," said Cromwell, who played the farmer in "Babe."

The ceremony walked a fine line between being a farce of an awards show and a meaningful recognition of dog and trainer achievements. Proceedings were broadcast online by the Hollywood Reporter, and Siskind said he expects the ceremony to be televised next year.

Their respective owners accepted the awards. Shorty Rossi, star of "Pit Boss," noted, "This is the first time a pit bull's been nominated for anything."

Elizabeth Snead, an entertainment journalist who served as a Golden Collar judge, said the dog-awards show is more exciting than the Oscars.

"Everybody identifies with the dogs," she said, holding her Maltese, Posey. "And it makes it more accessible for humans who don't really care about awards season."

Obama's proposed tax hikes at odds with GOP rivals (AP)

WASHINGTON ? President Barack Obama proposed tax increases on wealthy individuals and some corporations Monday, setting the stage for an ideological battle that won't be resolved until after the November election ? if then.

Obama's proposed tax hikes put him at odds with the Republican presidential hopefuls. They have all called for tax packages that would lower taxes but possibly add to the federal deficit.

Obama's 2013 budget proposal mixes tax cuts designed to improve the economy with long-term tax increases aimed at reducing the federal budget deficit.

The plan calls for a tax reform package that would increase revenue by $1.5 trillion over the next decade. Obama did not offer a detailed plan for tax reform. Instead, he proposed a series of changes to the current tax system and several principles for what comprehensive tax reform would look like.

Administration officials said Monday that Obama would release a framework for corporate tax reform by the end of the month. The top corporate income tax rate of 35 percent is among the highest in the industrialized world. But the system is filled with so many deductions, credits and exemptions that many corporations pay taxes at a much lower rate.

Obama says he wants to simplify the tax code, lowering marginal tax rates while eliminating or reducing tax breaks enjoyed by wealthy individuals and U.S.-based multinational corporations.

Obama's plan would allow Bush-era tax cuts for the wealthy to expire at the end of the year, and would impose a new rule that people making more than $1 million a year pay at least 30 percent of their income in taxes. The "Buffett" rule, named after billionaire investor Warren Buffett, would replace the alternative minimum tax, which was originally designed to ensure that wealthy families pay at least some tax.

Obama did not detail how the Buffett rule would work. He said it should be a guiding principle for comprehensive tax reform.

"I believe that in our country, everyone must shoulder their fair share ? especially those who have benefited the most from our economy," Obama said in his budget message. "In the United States of America, a teacher, a nurse, or a construction worker who earns $50,000 a year should not pay taxes at a higher rate than somebody making $50 million. That is wrong."

Obama's tax proposals have no chance of passing a divided Congress in which most Republicans oppose all tax increases. Obama has included many of them in previous budget proposals, only to have them ignored by Congress.

Instead, Congress appears headed for another year-end showdown over whether to extend tax cuts first enacted under former President George W. Bush.

"The president offered a partisan, election-year budget that ratchets up spending while ignoring the biggest drivers of our debt and calls for massive tax increases on hardworking families and small businesses," said House Majority Leader Eric Cantor, R-Va.

The tax cuts, which expire at the end of the year, affect taxpayers at every income level. Obama wants to extend them for individuals making less than $200,000 a year and married couples making less than $250,000. He wants to let the tax cuts expire for those who make more.

Obama's plan would increase the taxes on qualified dividends for the wealthiest investors. The top tax rate on qualified dividends is currently 15 percent. For the wealthiest investors, Obama would tax them at the same rate as ordinary income, with a top rate of 39.6 percent.

Obama's rivals, including former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney, have proposed tax plans that independent experts say would result in lower taxes for corporations and the wealthy.

Romney's tax plan would make permanent all of the Bush-era tax cuts, including those for the wealthy. Romney's plan, however, would reduce revenue by $180 billion in 2015, adding to the federal budget deficit, according to an analysis by the Tax Policy Center, a Washington think tank.

Romney's campaign disputes the estimate, saying tax cuts in the plan would help improve the economy, leading to more revenue.

Among Obama's tax proposals:

? Make permanent the American Opportunity Tax Credit, which provides students with up to $2,500 a year for college expenses, saving taxpayers $137 billion over the next decade.

? Enhance and make permanent the research and experimentation tax credit, saving businesses $109 billion over the next decade.

? Extend through 2012 a provision that allows businesses to more quickly write off the cost of new equipment such as computers, saving them $31 billion over the next decade.

? Provide a tax credit for employers that increase their payrolls in 2012. Employers could get a tax credit equal to 10 percent of the increase in wages subject to Social Security taxes. The tax credit would save businesses $18 billion.

? Raise $143 billion over the next decade by increasing estate and gift taxes, and changing the way some trusts are taxed.

? Increase taxes on U.S.-based multinational corporations by $148 billion over the next decade, in part by changing the way foreign tax credits are calculated and restricting the ability to defer taxes on foreign profits by limiting deductions for interest expenses.

? Raise $61 billion over the next decade by imposing a fee on financial institutions with more than $50 billion in assets. The fee, which is designed to recover the costs of the Wall Street bailout, would be based on the covered liabilities of a financial firm.

? Raise $30 billion over the next decade by eliminating tax breaks for oil, gas and coal companies.

? Raise $87 billion over the next decade by requiring businesses to change the way they value their inventory for tax purposes.

Apple launches new legal attack on Samsung phones

(Reuters) ? Apple Inc raised the stake in an intensifying global patent battle with Samsung Electronics by targeting the latest model using Google?s fast growing Android software, a move which may affect other Android phone makers.

Apple has asked a federal court in California to block Samsung from selling its new Galaxy Nexus smartphones, which use Google?s newest version of Android, called Ice Cream Sandwich, alleging four patent violations including new features such as a voice-command search function.

Galaxy Nexus, the official debut of which was delayed by Samsung in October to pay respect to Apple?s co-founder Steve Jobs, is the first phone running on the newest Android version before the platform is widely adopted by hardware manufacturers such as HTC Corp and Motorola Mobility. HTC and Motorola are also in separate patent disputes with Apple.

In a lawsuit filed last week in San Jose, Apple said the Galaxy Nexus infringes on patents underlying features customers expect from Apple products. Those include the ability to unlock phones by sliding an image and to search for information by voice.

?Google cannot deny its undivided responsibility for any infringement findings. A preliminary injunction would not prohibit the sale of a Galaxy nexus just because it?s called Galaxy Nexus or looks like one: it?s all about which patents it infringes on,? said independent patent expert Florian Meuller.

?I am absolutely certain that?for the preliminary injunction motion the Galaxy Nexus was singled out because it?s so new, and important.?

Samsung said in a statement on Monday that it is aware of the filing by Apple in the California court.

?We continue to assert our intellectual property rights and defend against Apple?s claims to ensure our continued innovation and growth in the mobile communications business,? Samsung said in a statement.

With the new lawsuit, Apple is opening up another legal assault on the South Korea-based company after taking Samsung to the same court in April of last year. In the earlier case, Apple alleged that Samsung illegally copied iPhone and iPad design features and the look of its screen icons. That case is still going on, although in December Apple lost a bid for a preliminary bar against Samsung for selling Galaxy phones and tablets.

Apple acknowledged the setback in the new action and said now it is suing over new products and different patents.

In addition to the California cases, Apple and Samsung are waging more than 20 legal fights in at least 10 countries in their war for global leadership of smartphone and tablet markets.

The new case in U.S. District Court, Northern District of California, is Apple Inc v. Samsung Electronics Co Ltd, et a 12-00630.
